 Chris Allen Broker Associate
After being furloughed as pilot from Delta Airlines following September 11th in 2001, Chris Allen relocated back to his hometown of Oklahoma and formed a residential real estate company, The Allen Group at RE/MAX First. Due to Chris's previous experience as owner and manager of Florida Intra Coastal Realty, changing career fields from pilot to real estate broker was handled with ease. Chris had record sales his first year in business and The Allen Group (TAG) hasn't stopped growing since. TAG has averaged one home sold every five days for the last three years! Additional licensed Realtors & office staff have added a better rounded group to help ever-growing client needs.
Chris grew up in Oklahoma City and Edmond. He attended Edmond Schools until 1981 graduated from Casady High School in 1987. Earning a spot at the United States Air Force Academy, he was active in golf, skiing, and academics and graduated on the Dean's Honor List in 1991 when President Bush, Sr. presidented him with his commissioning as a Lieutenant in the USAF. He has piloted planes to every continent in the world, including the South Pole-flying the C-21 Learjet and C-141 Starlifter aircraft. Towards the end of his tenure in the Air Force, he worked as a Presidential Support Pilot and one of five Nuclear Airlift Aircraft Commanders. Leaving the Air Force in 2000, Chris accepted a pilot position flying the Boeing 737 with Delta Airlines. Training and working for a major airline gave him a corporate perspective with real bottom line issues affecting him directly.
Chris's management positions in the Air Force, the up close and personal experience of being furloughed by Delta Airlines after 9-11 and learning to adapt to new environments with his work has given him some amazing insight into working with people and growing business smart. He has been described as one of the toughest negotiators in the business! As a matter of fact, Chris just completed his course with the Harvard Negotiation Project. Chris is a proud member of the RE/MAX 100% Club, Executive Club and Platinum Club. The Allen Group has placed in the "Top 10 Teams" for the entire state of Oklahoma with Re/Max three years running! Chris is actively involved in church and is an avid outdoorsman. He likes volunteering to make meals for families at the local Ronald McDonald House. Parenting three daughters with his wife Stacey, Chris very much enjoys living and working in the city in which he was raised.   | | | |

 Stacey Allen Marketing
With over 15 years of experience in public relations and marketing, Stacey Allen oversees all marketing efforts for The Allen Group. Her career has taken her from New York ad agencies to handling public relations for Hyatt Regency Hotels as the Southwest Regional Manager in Arizona to managing marketing for over 100 banking instituions in Missouri and Illinois to a small boutique agency in Washington State until returning to Oklahoma in 2001. Stacey holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma. She has worked for numerous boards and planning committees incorporating event planning for the American Heart Association's Heart Walk, Heart Ball in Washington State, Red Tie Night, Redbud Classic, and Downtown in December to name a few. Other industry organizations she has been a member of include Public Relations Society of America and Bank Marketing Association. She currently divides her time handling the company's marketing needs and, along with her husband Chris Allen of the The Allen Group, raising three daughters in Oklahoma City.   |  | | | | |
 Natalie Broughton Accredited Buyer's Realtor
Natalie Broughton, a native Oklahoman, has spent most of her life in NW OKC. She graduated from Putnam City North High School in 1994 and continued her education at Oklahoma Baptist University. In 1998 she received a bachelors degree in Music Education. She taught music in the Edmond Public Schools for six years. Natalie also had a private piano and voice studio.
Natalie began her real estate career with The Allen Group in 2004. She is a Realtor who specializes in working with buyers. Whether you are first-time buyer, relocating to Oklahoma, or investing in real estate, Natalie will represent your best interest in the home buying process.  Barbara King Sales Associate
Barbara King, an experienced Oklahoma Real Estate Professional joins The Allen Group in 2008. Barbara has worked in the Oklahoma Real Estate market since 1997. She is skilled in representing both buyers and sellers, from first time home buyers to executive living. Barbara just started a forum on Facebook.com for first time home buyers! She also has great relationships with many new home builders in Edmond and Deer Creek. Her outstanding communication skills coupled with being a dependable team player make Barbara indispensable to the group and to clients. Her successes give credibility and authenticity to each transaction with which she is a part.
She started her career with Harper Oil Company in the early 80's and went on to work for LittleHorn Communications and Urban Market as a manager for both companies. In the late 90's she entered into the real estate profession under Roy Woods as his personal assistant. Learning from one of the finest real estate professionals in this market, she went out on her own in 2004 until recently joining The Allen Group presently. Barbara is both detail-oriented and dependable, separating her from many as she stands out in this industry for her professionalism.
Barbara volunteers with Catholic Charities and attends St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She is a board memeber of Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School Alumni Association and has served as treasurer in the past. She is married to Paul King and they reside in Oklahoma City. She enjoys spending time with her family including three daughters and one sone-in-law.

A licensed Realtor, Julie helps with all of our listings behind the scenes. As our Listing Specialist, Julie is responsible for maintaining and promoting The Allen Group's listings. Her organizational skills, passion for people and knack for details makes her perfect fit for taking care of seller's needs and getting homes sold quickly. She is also a creative asset in marketing and advertising listings and enjoys being part of a dynamic group.
Brooks is from Edmond and graduated from Memorial High School in 2000. She attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated on the Dean's Honor Roll. She was a member of Alpha Lambda Delta National Collegiate Scholars as well as a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. With a Bachelor's Degree in Art History she became certified as an Art Teacher for grades K-12. After teaching art for several years at Crossings Christian School, she decided to pursue a career in real estate.
In her spare time Julie and her husband Matt enjoy traveling, cooking together and being outdoors. They are members of Bridgeway Church and enjoy being involved in the community.

 Haley Ray Office Administrator
Haley Ray, Office Administrator with The Allen Group oversees all functions of the company's day to day workload. Ray handles client files from start to finish, internal and external communications and all internet site management. Working in real estate since December 2006, Ray brings good hands-on experience and refreshing energy and enthusiasm to the job. She has always had a love for helping people and really thrives when she is able to assist people in getting into a home they can enjoy.
Ray graduated valedictorian from Woodward High School in Northwest Oklahoma in 2005. She then pursued a basketball career at Oklahoma City University on a basketball scholarship. During college she was the secretary to Oklahoma City University's Vice President during the 2005-2006 school-year. She also held the position of office administrator for Chapel Ridge Apartments in Edmond during the summer of 2006. That fall, she experienced a knee injury cutting her basketball career short. A few months later she began her real estate career with The Allen Group.
Ray enjoys spending time with her husband Patrick, working out and taking care of her two dogs, Roxy, a Siberian Husky and their adopted Boxer Mix, Sugar. She also enjoys motivational speaking at school and church events. Her positive attitude within the real estate world is encouraging and infectious to all who have the privilege to work with her! 

What happens when you are interested in purchasing property that is being sold by the same real estate agency in charge of your buying needs? You may have concerns about a dual buyer/seller agent. Will this form of agency protect your interests, or that of the seller? Will you as buyer be able to share confidential information about your needs?
In states where dual agency is legal, the real estate agent will serve the needs of both parties fully, because good business practices and professional integrity require honesty and fairness. If a buyer and seller are both represented by the same agency, they will be asked to sign a dual agent contract acknowledging the affirmative obligations of the real estate agent. Neither party should fear being shortchanged because the other party's interests will come first. Because the real estate agent will honor the code of confidentiality, both parties may share sensitive information without undue anxiety.
A reputable real estate agency will help to reach a satisfactory outcome to negotiations for both parties in the transaction.
